Continuing the Refurbishments

The shop was closed for a few days in November to continue the refurbishment project and so we have painted more walls and the dresser and reorganised the Notice Board, but there is still more to be done  We hope Phase Two will be completed in the early Spring, so fundraising for Phase Three is now in full swing. If we are successful in our bids, work will begin in late Spring on the exterior of the building, replacing the roof, treating the wood cladding, landscaping and purchasing a bench for the front of the shop.

24th October! That’s the day we opened our doors for the first time, just 20 years ago.  To celebrate that momentous occasion we invited lots of people to join us for tea and cakes.

It was great to see people who have been volunteering and delivering produce to the shop for 20 years. We also had lots different customers and volunteers call in for a catch up and natter.  Here are some photos from the day.
